Grove house is a gem!! A beautifully renovated manor house 5 minutes walk from Schull town. It is spacious, comfortable and pristinely presented with all bedrooms en-suite and all rooms beautifully decorated. The host, Colette, was very responsive and obliging We had a fabulous week at Grove house and hope to return in the future!

This place is amazing and Colette was the BEST to work with! From the minute we booked (3 months prior to our arrival) she was constantly in touch with recommendations and answering questions. We were a group of 11 traveling for the first time out of the country and she really helped our vacation run smoothly. The house is amazing and even more beautiful than the pictures shown. The kitchen was a dream kitchen! The bedrooms were beautiful,clean, and everyone had their own bathrooms with walk-in showers. We had kids/cousins ages 15-26 that made so many memories in the game room building! We have stayed at many Air B&B’s and this one was by far has been our favorite. One more note..we arrived late in town (10:00) after a very long flight and drive to our destination and everyone was starving but restaurants were closing, I just reached out to Colette to ask for places close and she personally called one of the restaurants in town that stayed open for us! This place is a 10 out of 10!
We were a multigenerational family group of eight adults and three small children. We had a lovely stay in Colette’s beautiful house. It is magnificently well equipped. The kitchen is chef-level standard, which worked very well when we had Stephen, a local private chef, come to cook an excellent dinner for us all one night. The house is comfortable, spacious and historically interesting as it used to be a hotel where well-known literary and artistic figures came to stay. The restoration has succeeded in preserving its old-world charm while providing all modern comforts. The views of the bay from the front porch and huge terrace is breathtaking – I can see why the painterJack B. Yeats was a frequent visitor. We swam off the rocks. Colette was wonderful to deal with in terms of easy communication, helpfulness with house guides and kitchen manuals, and suggestions for what to do locally. I really hope we’ll be back again some time.
We just spent the most incredible weekend in Grove House. The moment we arrived, we knew we were in for a treat. The property is absolutely gorgeous, the pictures don’t even do it justice it is just magnificent! The house itself is beautifully decorated with a perfect blend of style and comfort. The bedrooms are cozy and spacious, and the beds are super comfy. The location is ideal, with plenty of local amenities and attractions within easy reach. Walking distance to the town – less than 5 minutes. We spent our days exploring the surrounding area and enjoying the scenic views. Colette was super friendly and welcoming, and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. She even left us a lovely welcome basket with some delicious treats. Overall, we had an amazing time and I would highly recommend Grove House to anyone. We will be back next year! 🙂
